Head Start VPK

MCAA Head Start is a state-approved Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) provider. VPK is a free preschool program designed to prepare every 4 year old in Florida for Kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success.

MCAA Head Start offers the following VPK Programs:
  • School Year Program - VPK/Head Start program with 540 hours of VPK instruction
  • Summer Program - VPK program with concentrated 300 hours of VPK instruction

Highlights of Head Start VPK Program

  • FREE to all four (4) year olds born on or before September 1st
  • Age Appropriate curricula with strong empahsis on early literacy skills
  • Small class sizes
  • Child receives combination of Head Start and VPK instruction
